Barcode quality is operational
A barcode can look correct and still fail a scanner. Check module width, quiet zones, printed size, density, and data format.
Useful barcode checks
Review the barcode payload, expected symbology, X-dimension, human-readable text, quiet zone, and worst-case data length before release.
- Scan a printed sample, not only a browser image
- Test long order numbers and GS1 variable fields
- Keep labels away from edge clipping and wrinkles
