Load the actual label stock and ribbon that production will use.

For gap labels, make sure the gap is visible to the sensor and labels are not curled.

Clean the media sensor and platen before assuming the template is wrong.

Run a feed test and confirm each label stops at the same tear or peel position.

Save settings only after the sensor reliably detects the label start.
